March 28, 2024 - Central Ohio Mental Health Professionals Luncheon (Free)

A Learning Luncheon and social / networking event for Central Ohio Mental Health Professionals, hosted by Kaela Rae Vance LPCC-S, LLC, spotlighting featured presenter Richard C. Davis, Ph.D. of Comprehensive Services. At this luncheon, Richard will be providing us with a presentation entitled "An Introduction to Neurofeedback and Other Forms of Neuromodulation".

Itinerary, Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 11am-1pm:

• 11am, Doors open.

• Brief social time as people arrive.

• Brief welcome and introduction.

• Presentation: "An Introduction to Neurofeedback and Other Forms of Neuromodulation".

• Brief Q&A time with the presenter (Come prepared with a couple brief questions for the presenter!).

• Lunch / Social / Networking time (Make sure to bring business cards!).

• 1pm, Event conclusion.

About the Luncheon Presenter - Richard C. Davis, Ph.D.:

Richard Davis has been the owner and president of Comprehensive Services, Inc. since 1986. He has been a practicing psychologist for over 30 years, and has been a Neurofeedback, or EEG Biofeedback provider for over 20 years. Comprehensive Services, Inc. was the first Center for Neurofeedback in Central Ohio. Dr. Davis uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Experiential, and Gestalt therapy, among a variety of other approaches to fit each client’s need for change. He is experienced in treating a wide range of symptoms in adults, adolescents and children, including ADD/ADHD, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and many more. In addition to the above, Rich has been training for the last 12 years in the field of EEG-Biofeedback or Neurofeedback which is based on the newer brain sciences. This exciting new service has made a dramatic difference in the lives of many of our clients.

About the Luncheon Host - Kaela Rae Vance, LPCC-S:

Kaela is a Central Ohio Therapist whose clinical focus areas are grief and trauma. As a result, Kaela often sees patients also struggling with Anxiety, Depression, and PTSD. Kaela is trained in numerous modalities, including CTG, TF-CBT, and EMDR. Kaela honed her skills in grief and trauma counseling through her experience at the Family Support Program within Nationwide Children's Hospital Big Lots Behavioral Health Services as a Pediatric Trauma Therapist. Prior to her tenure at NCH, Kaela gained valuable experience at Columbus Springs, as an In-Patient Clinical Counselor. In spring of 2022, Kaela launched and grew her private counseling practice in Dublin, Ohio, which in January 2024 evolved into Teal Saguaro Wellness.

• A light snack and bottled water will be provided to attendees before the presentation.

• McAlisters Deli will be provided to attendees after the presentation (you may make an entrée selection when you RSVP).

Please note, RSVP is required for this event, we're unable to accomodate walk-in guests due to seating and catering limitations. Unless otherwise approved, attendance is contingent upon attendee being employed in the mental health field. If an registrant is found to not meet these prerequsits for this event, the registrant will be contacted and asked not to attend.
