About the Luncheon Presenter - Emily Hanlon, LISW-S:
Emily is passionate about working with clients interested in exploring new paths towards self-understanding and growth, who want to be able to feel secure in their skin and have thriving relationships. She personally struggled in her own therapy in the past because she often felt like while she was gaining some new insights and learning new skills, it didn’t shift the perpetual feeling in the background that she needed to be better and eventually she'd “unlock” the new and improved version of herself. Thankfully, those striving parts of her led her to explore mind-body approaches that offer a different way to approach change. Through her work with clients, she helps them be better equipped to recover and move on from past trauma, meet themselves with self-compassion, and thrive in their relationships.

Columbus Springs Hospital provides evidenced-based, transformational care for a broad range of mental health and addiction concerns in a compassionate, comfortable environment. They specialize in treating individuals who suffer from mental, behavioral and substance use issues. Treatment is available in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Their behavioral health professionals are available 24/7 for mental health emergencies that require immediate care, such as danger to self or others or when high-risk drug or alcohol withdrawal symptoms are present.
About the Luncheon Host - Kaela Rae Vance, LPCC-S:
Kaela is a Central Ohio Therapist whose clinical focus areas are grief and trauma. As a result, Kaela often sees patients also struggling with Anxiety, Depression, and PTSD. Kaela is trained in numerous modalities, including CTG, TF-CBT, and EMDR. Kaela honed her skills in grief and trauma counseling through her experience at the Family Support Program within Nationwide Children's Hospital Big Lots Behavioral Health Services as a Pediatric Trauma Therapist. Prior to her tenure at NCH, Kaela gained valuable experience at Columbus Springs, as an In-Patient Clinical Counselor.
