What a wonderful time to come together and tackle some challenging cases! This month's gathering will be hosted by Teal Saguaro Wellness. Coffee and some tasty breakfast goodies will be provided by Central Ohio Counseling Association, so come ready for great conversations! This is a fantastic chance for all of us to support one another, exchange referrals, and connect with amazing mental health professionals right here in Central Ohio. Just a quick reminder: this event is for licensed and pre-licensed mental health professionals. We’re really looking forward to seeing you there!

About the Coffee & Consultation Presenter - Central Ohio Counseling Association:

The mission of the Central Ohio Counseling Association (COCA), a chapter of the Ohio Counseling Association (OCA), is to serve and support licensed professional counselors, counselor educators, supervisors, and graduate students in the Central Ohio region. COCA aims to facilitate connections between counselors in our local communities through education, legislative advocacy, social justice promotion, outreach, and networking. COCA values the diversity of our profession at all levels, and provides its members opportunities for professional identity enhancement and leadership development. COCA's goal is to provide the necessary resources for counseling professionals to effectively carry out the responsibility of our work, enriching our professional lives, as well as the lives of those we serve.

About the Coffee & Consultation Host - Kaela Rae Vance, LPCC-S:

Kaela is a Central Ohio Therapist whose clinical focus areas are grief and trauma. As a result, Kaela often sees patients also struggling with Anxiety, Depression, and PTSD. Kaela is trained in numerous modalities, including CTG, TF-CBT, and EMDR. Kaela honed her skills in grief and trauma counseling through her experience at the Family Support Program within Nationwide Children's Hospital Big Lots Behavioral Health Services as a Pediatric Trauma Therapist. Prior to her tenure at NCH, Kaela gained valuable experience at Columbus Springs, as an In-Patient Clinical Counselor. In spring of 2022, Kaela launched and grew her private counseling practice in Dublin, Ohio, which in January 2024 evolved into Teal Saguaro Wellness.

Please note, event space is limited. So please only register if you are committing to attend. Obviously things come up, so if you discover after registration that you're unable to be present, please email info@tealsaguaro.com so that we can release your spot to anyone else who would like to attend. Failing to let us know may result in you being unable to attend future events.

Registration Prerequisites:

Unless otherwise approved, attendance is contingent upon attendee being a licensed or pre-licensed mental health professional. If an registrant is found to not meet these prerequisites for this event, the registrant will be contacted and asked not to attend.
