The Central Ohio Counseling Association (COCA) is excited to invite local counselors to a special networking event: Coffee & Consultation, this month hosted at Susanne Perry Counseling in New Albany, Ohio.

This gathering is designed to bring together therapists for a morning of connection, collaboration, and community.

Event Details

  • Location: Susanne Perry Counseling, 3736 Kitzmiller Rd., New Albany, OH 43054

  • Date: Saturday, August 23rd

  • Time: 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Why Attend?

Coffee & Consultation isn’t just about enjoying a hot cup of coffee—it’s about creating meaningful professional relationships that strengthen our counseling community. Here are some of the benefits of attending:

  • Network with experienced therapists: Meet colleagues across Central Ohio and build supportive professional connections.

  • Grow your referral list: Share your specialties and learn about others, making it easier to connect clients with the right providers.

  • Get on other people’s referral lists: Expand your visibility and open the door to new client opportunities.

  • Learn new strategies and techniques: Exchange ideas and gain insight into different approaches being used in practice today.

  • Discover new counseling groups: Explore local therapy and support groups that could benefit your clients.

  • Enjoy community over coffee: Build friendships with other professionals who understand the challenges and rewards of counseling work.

Why Networking Matters in Counseling

Counseling is both deeply rewarding and uniquely challenging. As professionals, we pour into the lives of others every day, but it’s just as important for us to have opportunities to connect with peers, recharge, and grow.

Events like Coffee & Consultation foster collaboration rather than competition, allowing us to share resources, support one another, and ultimately provide better care for our clients. Whether you’re new to the field or have decades of experience, every counselor benefits from fresh perspectives, stronger networks, and a sense of professional community.

Join Us

We hope you’ll join COCA for this engaging morning event. Bring your business cards, your curiosity, and your favorite coffee mug if you’d like! Together, we can build a stronger community of counselors who support each other and the clients we serve.
